By the Numbers (7/20-7/26)
2009 July 27
Most of this week I was out on travel for work and I bought a whole bunch of cup-o-noodles for lunch since we don’t get enough time to eat out.
- CPK – $5
- Corky’s – $7
- Lenny’s Subs – $7
- UCC Cafe – $17 + $8
- Oakley Sunglasses – $24
- Charity – $5
- Joy KTV – $24 (for 2! much cheaper than Energy)
Total: $97
Most of the expenses were due to:
- UCC Cafe – had to treat a friend to brunch because she cooked for us previously
- Oakley Sunglasses – original price was $180 but after vision insurance + discount, the price actually paid was much lower at $24
- Joy KTV – first time came to this Korean KTV place, it doesn’t have a set up as nice as Energy in Alhambra but it is definitely cheaper. It is only $10 per person with a minimum of 3 people while Energy is $18 per person with a minimum of 4 people (weekend happy hour prices). That also doesn’t include tip + tax. So me and Bae together ended up spending $12 per person and our group was 10+.
It was a nice week overall and getting to work away from the office was relaxing. The money saved/made from the per diem is also nice!
