By the Numbers (9/14-9/20) & News
Had training three days this week so spent more money during lunch (no fridge @ training location).
- $3 – Lee’s Sandwiches (pork roll & pate)
- $6.50 – Wahoo (fish taco & enchilada platter)
- $15 – The Hat (pastrami dip & chili cheese fries)
- $10 – Haru Haru Sushi (lunch special)
- $17 – Boston Kitchen
- $87.50 – Lawry’s (35th Anniversary Special – $35/person for prime rib, mashed potatoes, drink, dessert, salad)
- $19 – JJ Cafe (way TOO noisy, don’t think I will be going back soon)
Total: $158
Went a little over budget for this week (4.3 wks on average a month @ $600/month results in $140/wk). This was mainly due to having to eat out every day… now I realize how expensive it is to pay for food if it isn’t convenient to bring food to work! Glad I have the choice to brown bagging it everyday at work normally. Of course eating at Lawry’s also contributed a large part to the total, but I promised Bae to go there for Lawry’s 35th Anniversary Special :P
On a side note, I just got a promotion, so I’ll need to recrunch the budget numbers to factor in additional savings… I need to remind myself to not get sucked into Lifestyle Inflation!!
