What does Melrose and Napolean Hill have in common?
It’s weird when you can see flashes of Napolean Hill’s bestseller “Think and Grow Rich” in prime-time TV.
I was just watching Melrose Place and one of the characters was giving advice to a newbie:
“There is always room to move up… that’s easy, you just set your mind on what you want and go get it.”
That’s basically the gist of “Think and Grow Rich”, “The Secret”, and a multitude of other motivational books/movies. Of course there are intricities to it such as setting up goals/milestones and getting the knowledge/experience to back it up. But the crux of any success is a burning passion and intense focus in getting it done. Without it, everything falls apart. The worst thing is having an apathetic person because you know nothing will ever be accomplished.
And I wholeheartedly believe that anyone that wants to get something bad enough will be able to get it. Always.
